FOOD REVIEW: SLATER'S 50/50

With a loaded menu of burger creations on definite steroids, Slater's 50/50 takes their "Burgers by Design" moniker very seriously! Featuring only the finest Holstein beef a.k.a Brandt Beef, one of their main signature burgers features 50% Bacon and 50% Beef for flavor that's truly mouth-watering! It's a popular favorite and when you realize that most all of their burgers require 2 hands to hold, you know you're in for a hearty treat!

To celebrate momma Peeps' birthday, the family and I visited the Rancho Cucamonga location to sample some of their burger awesomeness and we weren't disappointed. Inside you'll find a casual dining experience with flatscreen TV's at every turn. The restaurant is geared towards both sports aficionados and serious burger lovers. Aside from the delicious burgers, the menu also features some pretty amazing Appetizers, Buffalo Wings, Chicken Sandwiches and Salads. Their fully loaded bar also features the usual suspects drink-wise along with some specialty-themed creations like the Bacon Mary (bacon-washed olives and a Bloody Michaels Handcrafted Mix) to the Bacon Old Fashioned (bacon-washed Woodford Reserve, Maple Syrup & Whiskey Bitters).
